Double Digit Multiplication
We have had to use a bit of double digit multiplication to solve a complicated maths problem. Today we are practicing our strategies.
Solve these problems, showing your work and clearly explaining your strategy:
4 x 13
6 x 23
12 x 10
13 x 20
14 x 24
When you finish, share your workings out and strategies with a learning buddy. Did you have different strategies?
After that.....your choice:
1. Make up a story problem that uses double digit multiplication. Can your learning buddy solve it?
and/or
2. Make a Movenote or iMovie video explaining/teaching a double digit multiplication strategy.
and/or
3. Leave a comment below explaining your strategy.
