Reading logs will be handed out every Monday and I expect Room 6 students to read at least 20 minutes five times a week. Reading should be enjoyable and students should choose what they would like to read. It might be a novel, the newspaper, a magazine, helping younger siblings with their reading or even being read to by a parent or sibling.
Maths homework will relate to individual maths goals. It could be a basic facts focus or an open-ended problem to solve.
Homework will be handed out and checked off on Mondays.
We also encourage students to carry on with work that is happening in the classroom. This is possible using their Google Drive and/or taking books home.
