We've been busy working on our Harris Burdick stories!

Pepehas

We've been working hard on our pepehas! This was a challenging project for many of us (teacher included!) and a great 'first step' towards incorporating more Te Reo Maori into our classroom.

Here are the first few finished ones- Room 6 had to learn a lot about how to use audioboo, wevideo and iMovie.....we're now experts!

Room 6's buddy Passions

In Room 6 we are doing buddy passions. buddy passions is about learning how to do stuff like doing painting outdoor games and etc. Each person in Room 6 chooses a passions for our buddy class room 9 and room 7  chooses what passions they go in.Then the next day our class gets setup then we tell them what to do and help them.Then Room 6 helps the buddy to do their passions.Then the next day Room 6 was planing what to do next buddy passions.

Epic fails AND Epic wins

This is our art on epic fails and epic wins its called print making. Here are some instructions to make a print:
1.First plan your idea then choose if it's an epic fail or win
2. Start to draw your idea really simple so that you can cut out shapes and stick them on a piece of card to form maybe a car or a plane or a motorbike.
3.You get special ink and put some over a ice cream container get a roller and roll over it until it starts to go a bit lumpy and has a lot of tiny holes.
 4. Place a bit of paper over the print and push it down really hard for 30 second all over and then take the bit of paper off and you have made your self a print.
